A downloadable game

A dungeon crawler of modest scale made with a focus on manual mapping without strict grid design, in a procedurally-generated barrow. Crank your favorite dungeon synth and get mapping.

This is a very very early look. Lots of things are missing or not quite right. I also developed this on a laptop with fucked contrast so it might be too dark.

Randy's Barrow Adventure utilizes Reaction-Diffusion to generate Turing Patterns, and with the right parameters can make for a pretty interesting (and reliably connected) heightmap.

With enough tweaking, seed points can be placed at the beginning of generation to create a system of interconnected rooms with winding passageways, dead-ends, and loops. Sounds dungeony enough to me!

As of right now, this is a walking sim with no goals or motivations and nothing to interact with but the map. At some point I'll come back to this and expand when inspiration strikes.
